“Walking Dead” (9 p.m., AMC): This season still has a few more episodes but it seems like something explosive is going to happen this week.

“Timeless” (10 p.m., NBC): When a Rittenhouse sleeper agent in 1941 Hollywood steals the only copy of “Citizen Kane,” Lucy (Abigail Spencer), Wyatt (Matt Lanter) and Rufus (Malcolm Barrett) team up with Hedy Lamarr (guest star Alyssa Sutherland) to get it back.

Social work award for theater pillar

YOUNGSTOWN

Nicole Zayas of Youngstown has received the Student of the Year Award from the National Association of Social Workers. She was recognized Saturday at the group’s annual Social Work Gala in Columbus.

Zayas is a key member of Rust Belt Theater Company and was formerly a leader of the Youngstown Area Community Theatre Alliance.

She will graduate in May from Youngstown State University’s master of social work program, having completed internships at Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic and the Ohio State Penitentiary.

While attending college, Zayas worked full-time at Mahoning and Columbiana Training Association, offering translation services and helping clients find employment.

She was a coordinator of last year’s Women’s March and served as vice president of YSU’s Latino Organization.

Baking program for kids at JCC

YOUNGSTOWN

Jewish Community Center, 55 Gypsy Lane, is offering a youth baking program in which instructor Hunter Thoma will teach the children how to prepare and bake a treat from beginning to end.

After each program, participants will get to bring home their creations.

This three-day program will be April 11, 18 and 25, and is open to all children age 6 and up. Fee is $20. Register at jccyoungstown.org.
