YSU cancels baseball and softball games

YOUNGSTOWN

The Youngstown State baseball team's Wednesday game at Toledo was canceled due to inclement weather. The game is currently scheduled to be made up May 8 at Scott Park.

The Penguins are scheduled to play a three-game series this weekend against Northern Kentucky at Eastwood Field in Niles. The series is slated to begin on Friday at 6 p.m.

Wednesday's YSU softball doubleheader against Kent State also was canceled due to inclement weather. A makeup date has yet to be determined.

YSU hosts IUPUI in a three-game series beginning with a doubleheader at 2 p.m. Friday. On Saturday, YSU will play a single game with a start time yet to be determined.
