Peeters Named USHL Goaltender of the Week

The United States Hockey League announced Monday that the Youngstown Phantoms’ Wouter Peeters has been named USHL Goaltender of the Week.

Peeters started in net on Saturday for the Phantoms against the Green Bay Gamblers. He faced 39 shots and stopped all of them for his second shutout in a 1-0 victory.

The Phantoms are currently in second place in the East. With eight games remaining the team needs five points to clinch a playoff spot. The team travels to Lincoln, Nebraska this week to take on the Stars.
