BASKETBALL

The 48th annual Al Beach Classic will take place on Tuesday at Canfield High School. Playing will be seniors from Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties. Admission costs $6. The girls all-star game will begin at 6 p.m. A 3-point contest for girls will be contested at halftime. The boys game will follow with a 3-point contest at halftime.

Kincaid Mrakovich and Justin Blasko each scored three goals and Tallon Price had the other for the Bulldogs. Zach Smin was the goaltender who was helped by strong defensive efforts by Maguire Franko, Josh Evan and Kevin Taylor. Peyton Mrakovich, Michael Costello and Marcus Romeo provided quality minutes.
