Stambaugh board adds Stephens

YOUNGSTOWN

Tracie L. Stephens, CPA, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Stambaugh Auditorium Association. A principal in the firm of Schroedel, Scullin & Bestic, she joins current board members Terrence F. Cloonan, Esq., Jeanne Simeone, Barbara H. Tinkham, David J. Konik, CPA, John Yerian III and Mark Gasser.

Be the first to ride new roller coaster

Cedar Point and the LeBron James Family Foundation are giving park guests the chance to be the first public riders on the new Steel Vengeance hyper-hybrid roller coaster on April 27 from 6 to 10 p.m.

Tickets for the First Rider Benefit are $75 per person and go on sale Monday at cedarpoint.com. For riders who want additional bragging rights, tickets for access to the event and the coveted first public train are $250 each and can also be purchased online. Tickets are limited and are expected sell out. Proceeds benefit the LeBron James Family Foundation.

The event also includes rides on the Maverick roller coaster and a commemorative souvenir.
