SPORTS digest YSU home opener postponed to Saturday

Because of Friday’s forecast for cold temperatures, the Youngstown State University baseball team has postponed its home opener at Eastwood Field until Saturday.

YSU will play Wisconsin-Milwaukee in a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.

The Penguins and Panthers will finish their three-game series on Sunday at 1 p.m.
