Mass to honor Irish Man, Woman of Year

YOUNGSTOWN
The annual Mass of the Ancient Order of Hibernians Joseph T. Nalley Sr. Mahoning County Division 6 will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick Church, 1410 Oak Hill Ave.
The Irish Man of the Year, Edward A. Moss, and Woman of the Year, Mary Kay Murphy-Sharp, will be honored during the ceremony.
A luncheon will follow in the church hall. Cost is $25 per person, and tickets are available for presale by contacting Ray Kelly IV at 330-565-3158. A limited amount of tickets may be available at the door.
The menu will feature traditional corned beef and cabbage.
The Ancient Order of Hibernians, North America’s oldest Catholic organization, carries out its mission, which doubles as its motto, of “Friendship, Unity and Christian Charity” by supporting St. Vincent de Paul Society, Sojourner House, Dorothy Day House, The Ulster Project, Catholic Charities and Cafe Augustine as well as Project St. Patrick, which assists seminarians as they study to become priests.
