Survivors of Fla. shooting will be force for change

President Donald J. Trump and the National Rifle Association agree that there should be more guns in our schools. It’s all about the money.

Are all schools now becoming prisons and the classroom cells? Detention halls could be used as solitary confinement and gyms as exercise yards. What’s next: armor plated school buses, armed cafeteria cooks and school crossing guards?

When I went to school, there were no armed teachers. When my children went to school, there were no armed teachers or metal detectors.

What has become of our society? By all recent observations, all previous mass shootings have changed nothing. But the teen survivors in Florida and all other victims will be a force to reckon with as future voters.

These teenagers are well spoken and informed about where all the money comes from and where it goes. Politicians beware, eventually you will be forced to act! A society is only as strong as the people who live in it.
