St. Christine School had their annual field day on May 25 for students in all grades to celebrate the end of the school year.

The day of fun included activities in different areas of the school, such as the gymnasium and cafeteria.

“We want them to stay safe and have fun,” said Melanie Sztary, the organizer for this year’s event. She also wanted to get the students outside as much as possible to enjoy the nice day. She, along with the school’s Home and Family Association, set up the numerous activities and scheduled each of the classes.

They organized different events for the ages of the students, such as the seventh and eighth grade students’ “amazing race” where they competed against each other to reach twelve different stations the fastest.

However, many of the students enjoy the same activities. All students got to participate in an open gym time, where they played basketball and socialized. Other activities included kickball, games on the football field and eating frozen treats from Kona Ice.
