Poland festival with fireworks

The annual Celebrate Poland festival will begin at 5:30 p.m. Friday with the Strawberry Festival at Poland Presbyterian Church, 2 Poland Manor, followed by the Firemen’s Parade at 7 p.m. and a performance by the band Disco Inferno at 7:45 p.m.

Saturday events behind Village Hall on South Main Street include the Poland Idol singing competition at noon, an arts and crafts show, youth fun run, Chalk the Walks, family games and activities, pony rides, Amazon Eric reptile show, petting zoo, walking tours, book sale, DJ and fireworks at 10 p.m. Go to celebratepolandohio.com.
