Macri’s Sports 2, Knightline 1

Macri’s Sports’ Logan Hurley outdueled Andrew DelGarbino of Knightline. Hurley allowed just the one run while scattering eight hits in a complete game, while striking out three and walking one. Delgarbino yielded just the two runs on five hits while going the distance, striking out five and walking four. Cre Calabria led Macri with two hits and a run scored. Benny Dottle hit a double and scored a run while Ethan Bintram drove in a run and scored another in the win for Macri. Tanner Stewart had two hits, including a double, and scored the only run of the game for Knightline on a Kris Scandy RBI single.

Prospects 2, Avalanche 1

Prospects scored twice in the bottom of the fifth inning to beat Avalanche. Trevor Strohmeyer got the win, allowing just an unearned run on four hits in a complete game. He stuck out two and walked one. Nolan Shannon suffered the loss for Avalanche, giving up both runs on six hits. He struck out two and walked three. Nick Malito led all hitters in the game with two hits and a run scored for Prospects. Strohmeyer scored a run. Peyton Olinski doubled and scored the only run of the game for Avalanche.

DuraEdge 15, Creekside Fitness 1

DuraEdge scored early and often in a one-sided victory. Will Shaffer picked up the win, while Kyle Weitzel took the loss. Jake Bowen led DuraEdge with three hits, four runs scored, and an RBI. Dom Wade slugged a double among his two hits, drove in three runs and scored one of his own. Rose had a double among his two hits as well, two RBIs and a run scored while Rich Hofus hit an RBI double and scored a run. Nate Meeks contributed a hit, two RBIs, and scored three runs for DuraEdge. Zak Phillis scored the lone run of the game for Creekside.
