Garden Show names blue ribbon winners

YOUNGSTOWN

The Garden Forum of Youngstown recently hosted a flower show at the D.D. & Velma Davis Education & Visitor Center at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek MetroParks.

Blue-ribbon winners for design and their respective garden clubs were Lauren Mangino and Sheila Bowman, Nature Lovers; and Pearl Marlos and Millie Campean, Gleaners. Mangino also won best of show in design.

Awarded blue ribbons for horticulture were Peggy Potts, Johnny Appleseed; Cindy Salerno, Rosemary Fuller and Bowman, Nature Lovers; Millie Campean and Pearl Marlos, Gleaners; and Joanne Vlacanich, Garden Gate. Potts garnered best-of-show honors in horticulture.
