Concert, How-To Festival in Riverwalk Park

Staff report

NEW CASTLE, PA.

Ever wonder what it takes to raise chickens in your backyard? Or make your own cleaning products from household items? Or how to do a sleight-of-hand card trick to fool your friends?

These topics and more will be shared by individuals, organizations and businesses at today’s How-To Festival that will accompany an outdoor concert in Riverwalk Park.

Voices, featuring Rudy Zetz, Janet Falotico and Sharon Grey, will perform on stage from 6 to 9 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.

The How-To Festival will be centered on East Washington Street, next to the park during the same hours, and feature 15 to 20 opportunities for guests of all ages and interests to learn something new.

The concert and festival are free and will include food vendors, basket raffles and a drawing.

The Outdoor Summer Concert Series in Riverwalk Park is coordinated by volunteers with New Visions for Lawrence County.
