Appuglieses celebrate 66th anniversary

YOUNGSTOWN

Mr. and Mrs. Gabe Appugliese of Youngstown recently celebrated their 66th anniversary with family.

The couple’s children are Gabe (Laurie) Appugliese of North Lima; Kathy Appugliese of Youngstown; Terry (Chuck) Fagan of Youngstown; Tina (Kip) Kistler of Salisbury, N.C.; Michael Appugliese; Bernie Appugliese of Chicago; Mimi Humphreys of Boardman; Jenny Appugliese of Youngstown; and Phyllis (David) Schaab of Canfield.

Their 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren complete the family.

Mr. Appugliese married the former Marie Castor on May 17, 1952, at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown.

Mrs. Appugliese was a nurse at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown.

Mr. Appugliese was captain of the Youngstown Fire Department until he retired in 1986.

The couple are members of St. Christine Church in Youngstown.
