What: The Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year. Enjoy the extra daylight by strolling through Vickers Nature Preserve with naturalist Nick Parish. Moderate, 3 miles.

Botanical mornings

What: Discover the progress of seasons at Fellows Riverside Gardens.

Summer Evening hike

When: Saturday, 7-8:30 p.m.

What: Enjoy the new season with an evening hike looking and listening to the sights and sounds of nature with Naturalist Marilyn Williams. Moderate, 1.75 miles.

Relax, restore, Renew

When: Saturday, 9:30-11 a.m.

What: Treat yourself to a Saturday morning escape in one of the most beautiful spots in Mill Creek Park. Join Heidi Suraci for a retreat of well-being that combines yoga, breathing meditation and healing touch. Relax and restore before you head out onto the trails, or after you have gone for your morning adventure. All levels welcome. Bring a mat and small blanket. Program takes place outside, rain or shine. Drop-ins welcome.

Drawing in the Gardens

When: Sunday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

What: Enjoy drawing selections of flowers and plants using any medium of choice. Marianne Hilke will guide you through the process and work one on one with students.

Supplies required: Graphite drawing pencils or any other drawing medium of choice, kneaded and white drafting eraser, good quality drawing paper.

Register: Deadline is Friday.

Community Garden Tour

What: Check out one of the newest urban orchards and the community vegetable gardens.
