Staff report

YOUNGSTOWN

The Hopewell Theatre, 702 Mahoning Ave., will fully embrace its recent shift to contemporary fare in its 2018-19 season, which will include the musicals “Godspell” and “Snoopy, the Musical” and six plays.

The community theater, formerly known as Victorian Players, changed its name in the 2017-18 season and completely dropped its emphasis on historical genre plays. Flex passes are on sale now that offer tickets to six shows for $60 ($42 for senior citizens and students). Call 330-746-5455.
