SRCCC receives donation from farming organization

The SRCCC (3Cs) of North Lima received a donation recently of $2,500 from America’s Farmers Grow Communities, a nationwide project that enables farmers to benefit local nonprofit organizations. About 25 volunteers from 3Cs operate a weekly food pantry out of The Old School Marketplace, the former South Range High School, in North Lima. Above, Dale Oliver, right, 3Cs distribution administrator, receives the donation from Jim Moore, left, of Moore Farms, Western Reserve Road, Canfield. Moore was one of more than 1,300 winning farmers in 41 states who was chosen to channel donations from Grow Communities to local service groups. The program is sponsored by the Monsanto Fund.
