Michelle Caruso, Peter Barrett set August date

Bernice Caruso of Canfield is announcing the engagement of her daughter, Michelle Catherine Caruso, to Peter Smith Barrett, both of Cincinnati. The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late George Caruso.

The prospective groom’s parents are C. Francis Barrett and Laura Barrett, both of Cincinnati.

The ceremony will take place Aug. 11 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Canfield, and a reception will follow that evening at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown. Invitations will be extended for both events.

Miss Caruso graduated from Ohio State University with a doctor of pharmacy degree. She is a clinical pharmacy specialist in emergency medicine at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

Mr. Barrett graduated from Xavier University and is a self-employed financial analyst.
