Diocesan Youth Day will take place Tuesday at Cedar Point. The event, which offers a savings of $30 on a one-day regular priced ticket, will include Mass. Participants will have the opportunity to purchase a soft drink bracelet for $9 to receive free refills all day. This event is for children in grades 6 to 12 and their families. Purchase tickets the day of at a specially marked ticket window to the right of the main entrance from 9 a.m. to noon. Tickets are $42 per person, ages 3 and older (2 and under free.) Park hours are from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at 4 p.m. The specific location will be shared at the ticket window. Youth groups that travel together are reminded to have all completed permission forms with the group leader, and are encouraged to wear parish or school shirts. The day is sponsored by the Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry for the Diocese of Youngstown along with the offices in Toledo and Cleveland. MVYP to host mixer

The Mahoning Valley Young Professionals Club will meet for its June 2018 Mixer from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Youngstown Country Club, 1402 Country Club Drive. Library to host Titanic program

Salem Public Library, 821 E. State St., will host “Titanic: Tragedy of Errors” from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Adult Services Reading Room. The program presenter will be Thomas Edwards. Participants will learn about the life of the Titanic from beginning to end. A display of photographs, 1912 newspapers, and a 32-inch replica of the Titanic will be available for viewing. Society will host a scavenger hunt

The Mahoning Valley Historical Society will host a scavenger hunt meets a road trip Friday. Individuals and teams will begin at the Tyler History Center, 325 West Federal St. Anyone participating will be given a set of clues to six different landmark sites spread throughout the Valley. Take a smart phone or digital camera to record your landmarks. The final clue will lead all to the finish line at Suzie’s Dogs & Drafts for a casual party. Registration begins at 5 p.m. and the race begins at 5:30. Independent transportation is required. Cost is $7 per person. For information or to sign up, call 330-743-2589.
