WALLACE TRIAL | Mistrial declared in murder case


YOUNGSTOWN — A mistrial has been declared in the Johnny Wallace murder trial after two days of deliberations.

Jurors deliberated for parts of two days and earlier today were told to go back and deliberate by Judge Lou D'Apolito before coming back just after 1 p.m. and informing the judge they could not reach a decision.

Wallace will be tried again. Anime hearing will he held at a later date to determine if Wallace's $1 million bond should be reduced while he awaits his retrial.
