What: Explore the MetroParks Farm with a tour guide. Time includes a visit to our playroom, a tractor-wagon ride and visit to the barns. Bring along a snack or lunch and enjoy our picnic area after your tour.

Grindin’ Day at Lanterman’s Mill
When: Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
What: Due to popular demand, we will be demonstrating corn- grinding all day for visitors to observe.

Herbs for Pollinator Conservation

What: Learn your role in pollinator conservation, and what types of herbs to plant that can attract pollinators and ensure they will stick around for generations.

Community Garden & Urban Farm Tour

Growing, Preserving, Canning Series
When: June 28, 1-4 p.m.
What: This is the first class in a three-class series. It is geared to teach those who are new to home-canning the basics and provide a refresher to experienced home-canners.
Cost: $15
Details: Participants can have their pressure canners tested for safety and dial gauge pressure canners tested for accuracy before the classes.
