MONTEREY, CALIF.

Richard Patrick Rosen of Boardman and Courtney Nolan of Westlake were married Aug. 12, 2017, at Santa Catalina Rosary Chapel in Monterey, Calif. An evening reception took place in the historic ballroom in Club Del Monte at Monterey Naval Postgraduate School.

The newlyweds were honored at a local reception hosted by the groom’s parents at Our Lady of Mount Carmel social hall Sept. 23, 2017.

The bride is a daughter of Robert and Nancy Nolan of Marina, Calif.

Richard and Dianna Rosen of Boardman are the parents of the groom.

The bride wore a white, strapless gown with a sweetheart bodice and chapel-length train. Soft beading on Alencon lace on tulle completed her look.

Amy Senk was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Heather Osher, Jessica Hyduk, Tami Villa, Mackenzie Brown, Kristen Sorbo, Michelle Villa and Melissa Rosen, sister-in-law of the groom. Kinsley and Laila Senk and Brynn Rosen, niece of the groom, were the flower girls.

The attendants’ dresses were royal blue.

Rob Rosen, brother of the groom, performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Jason Rodesky, Dan Yanek, Brian Wess, Melvin McKee, Matt Nist and Brett Becker. The ring bearer was Dylan Rosen, nephew of the groom.

Mrs. Rosen graduated from the University of Dayton with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She also received her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pa. She is practicing pediatrics at the Cleveland Clinic.

Mr. Rosen graduated from John Carroll University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in business management technology. He is a sales representative for Keurig Dr. Pepper.

The couple honeymooned in Hawaii and reside in Strongsville.
