Johnsons celebrate 65th anniversary

YOUNGSTOWN

Mr. and Mrs. Auguste Johnson of Youngstown were honored recently for their 65th anniversary at a brunch with family at their daughter’s home in Youngstown.

The couple’s children are Dennis (Kim) Johnson of Struthers; Ken (Terri) Johnson of Youngstown; and Roxanne (Berlin) Johnson-Kirkpatrick of Youngstown.

The couple have four grandchildren, one of whom is deceased, and seven great-grandchildren.

Mr. Johnson married the former Roslyn Siroki on June 6, 1953, at St. George Church in Youngstown.

Mrs. Johnson worked for Mill Creek Park and Servomation in Youngstown and as a homemaker.

Mr. Johnson was a firefighter for the Youngstown Fire Department until retiring in 1984. He also served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

The couple are members of St. Mary’s Church in Youngstown.
