FESTIVALS

Hubbard St. Patrick Church, 225 N. Main St., will host its 60th annual festival from 6 to 11 p.m. Thursday and Friday, from 5 p.m. to midnight Saturday and from 3 to 11 p.m. Sunday. Food, basket raffle and prizes will be available. Prizes are an Apple iPod, Troy Bilt 24-inch snow blower, Dyson Upright Vacuum, a 50-inch television and more. Admission is free. St. Vitus Parish Festival 37th annual event will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday on the church grounds, 910 S. Mercer St., New Castle, Pa. Youngstown American Hungarian Federation will host its annual Hungarian Day Festival from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Aut Mori Grotto Hall, 563 Belle Vista Ave. Advance dinner tickets for the chicken paprikash dinners are required by today. FUNDRAISERS

Ernie Hall Aviation Museum, 4033 North River Road, Warren, will host its 6th annual Wings 'n Wheels event from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Flyovers by the C-123 and others will take place. There also will be more than 750 hot rods, vintage, classic and exotic cars and motorcycles on display. Individuals will be inducted into the Ernie Hall Aviation Museum Hall of Fame, tours will be available, a DJ will provide music, and food and souvenirs will be available for purchase. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children age 6 to 12. Children under 5 are admitted for free. Proceeds benefit the museum, the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County and Northeast Ohio Adoption Services.

Steel Valley Woofstock will take place at 6 p.m. Saturday at Yankee Lake Ballroom, 1814 state Route 7 NE, Brookfield, as a concert event to support and celebrate the work of Animal Welfare League. The event was created and organized by local veterinarian Dr. Suzanne Wilcox. Doors will open at 5. The concert will feature performers including Generation Rock, The Huckin Fillbillys, and Second Avenue Project. Special guest Dennis Drummond will also perform. Drummond, now residing in Nashville, is a native of Warren, and has performed on the TV show, The Voice. Cost is $35 and includes concert admission for all band performances, soft drinks and finger foods plus a progressive prize drawing. There also will be a cash bar, silent auction, and basket auction.

Stigmata Tattoo & Piercing, 119 W. Lincoln Highway in Lisbon, will host its fifth annual "Get Inked for Animals" from 12:30 to 8 p.m. Aug. 7 through 11. North Jackson Association will sponsor its Community-Wide Yard Sales at 9 a.m. Friday and Saturday starting at 9 a.m. There will be over 100 sales throughout the township. Maps to locate sales will be available at the former high school, 10748 Mahoning Ave., Friday.

New Middletown Village will host its National Night Out on Aug. 7. NNO is a nationwide crime-prevention initiative that brings out citizens and police in a relaxed atmosphere. First Congregational Church of Wayne will sponsor a bus trip to Sugar Creek Aug. 30 to see Mark Lowry in concert. Bus will depart at 11:30 a.m. with an approximate return time of 11:30 p.m. Cost is $99 and includes two hours of shopping, dinner and the show. Mahoning Valley Historical Society will host a History to Go bus tour to three sites related to U.S. President James A. Garfield on Aug. 11.
