BOARDMAN
The Mahoning County Medical Society Alliance recently installed new officers at a luncheon at the Springfield Grille in Boardman. Christina Memo was installed as president. Diana McDonald, immediate past president of the Ohio State Medical Alliance, presided over the installation. Other officers installed were Tammy Engle and Elizabeth Roller, co-treasurers; Jenna Cicchillo, secretary; and Diana McDonald, vice president.
As an active member of the Alliance for five years, Memo has served on the board as well as the annual charity fashion show committee that raised more than $7,000 for the Rape Crisis and Counseling Center and $7,000 for Walnut Grove. She also has assisted with fundraising and awareness for Akron Children’s Safe Sleep Program and is a member of TWIGS, Together with Important Goals.
Memo is a native of Boardman and graduated from Ohio Northern University with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. In 2016, she collaborated with My Babies First and Akron Children’s Mahoning Valley to educate parents on safe sleep in an effort to combat infant mortality rates in Mahoning County. Memo also is a volunteer at Holy Family School.
The Medical Alliance is a volunteer organization made up of physician spouses who provide support to the community through health education, legislation, community service and fundraising.
