What: Join naturalist Nick Parish to discover the numerous habitats found in Mill Creek Park.

Where: Mill Creek Preserve, 2668 West Western Reserve Road, Boardman.

Sunday Summer Paddle

When: Sunday, 10 a.m. to noon

What: Enjoy a guided paddle on Lake Newport and through the wetlands with naturalist Nick Parish. Take in the scenery, search for wildlife and enjoy quality time on the water.

Where: East Newport Boat Launch, East Newport Drive, Youngstown.

Cost: $12 for Mahoning County residents, $15 NR; 1/2 price for second person in tandem.

What: Enjoy a summer evening looking for these bioluminescent beetles with naturalist Marilyn Williams on a hike along the Mindy Henning Memorial Trail.
