Kid's Kupboard will host re-sale event

WARREN

Blessed Sacrament Parish, 3020 Reeves Road NE, Warren, will host a shopping event for children's items only from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. There will be tables and vendors for one-stop shopping at garage-sale prices. Lunch and baked goods will be available for purchase. Proceeds will benefit the parish's Relay for Life Team. Walking tour date set for Saturday

YOUNGSTOWN

The 5th Avenue Neighbors Association has teamed up with the Mahoning Valley Historical Society to host walking tours of the historic Crandall Park Neighborhood, beginning at noon Saturday. The tours will highlight architecturally significant homes in the district, and include details on the structure, and original owners and occupants of the homes. The homes feature several from the Colonial Revival period and Tudor styles.

The group will host walking tours at noon, 12:30, 1 and 1:30, and a bus tour at 12:30 to accommodate guests with mobility issues. Walking tours will take about 11/2 to 2 hours, and the bus tour will be 1 hour. There is a suggested donation of $5 per person. Library to host 'Let's Get Corky'

SALEM

Salem Public Library, 821 E. State St., will host decorating wine cork key chains at its Gettin' Crafty class at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 13 in the Quaker Room. All materials will be provided. Registration is required and may be done online at www.salem.lib.oh.us or by calling the library at 330-332-0042.
