Shooters & Scooters

Niles

Western Reserve Fish and Game Association has rescheduled its annual Civilian Marksmanship Program fundraiser, Shooters & Scooters, for next Saturday.

Shooters & Scooters is a poker run to benefit the club’s Jr. CMP team, the Eagles. Registration is $10 per rider and $5 per passenger. Registration starts at 9 a.m., and the run is scheduled to begin at 10.

Each participant will shoot range pistols at a playing card target for their opening hand. On the return, each participant may take up to three draw cards that will be selected in a new way this year. Best available cards determine the winner. The winner must meet federal and state eligibility.

In addition to the best poker hand award, club President Dan Padula, will select the best bike for another award. There also will be door prizes and raffles.

For more information, contact John at 330-647-2763 or Royalflush84@aol.com. Go to the club’s website, www.wrfg.us, for up-to date-notices.
