First Friday Club of Greater Youngstown Luncheon Speaker Series will feature the Rev. Edward Brienz at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 2 at The Georgetown in Boardman. Mr. Brienz is director of Missions/Propagation of the Faith for the Diocese of Youngstown, administrator of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in McDonald and founder of Caf Augustine located in the Newport Library. Youngstown South Christian Women’s Connection will meet for a “Golden Afternoon” luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 8 at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 W. The guest speaker will be Kimberly McCormick of New Castle, Pa., who will present “When Life’s Unwelcome Changes Come, Open the Door.” Nicole Carrabbia will present skin-care tips from Rodan and Fields.
