John Denver tribute show at mansion

A John Denver musical tribute dinner-show, featuring Ted Vigil, will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. Aug. 3 at Sebring Mansion Inn and Spa, 385 W. Ohio Ave.

Tickets are $85 per person (plus tax and service fee) and includes valet parking, a welcome champagne or sparkling juice, social hour with hors d’oeuvres, a progressive dinner and dessert.

A progressive dinner is one in which each course is eaten in a different location, usually in the homes of each host.

At the Sebring event, guests will “progress” through the mansion to stations with different appetizers and an area with a champagne welcome.

Main-course items will be set buffet-style in the dining room. Guests can find seating if needed, in the conservatory, on the porches or at high-top tables.

After the performance, guests will return to the dining room to select desserts or flaming bananas foster.

The pub will also be open throughout the event with bar snacks as well as cocktails on the patio.
