Millers mark 75th anniversary at dinner

Celebrating their 75th wedding anniversary July 1 at the Olive Garden in Boardman were Mr. and Mrs. William D. Miller of Youngstown.

The couple are the parents of Debra Lennon of Detroit, Ronald Miller of Youngstown and Donna Pickard of Phoenix. The Millers also have five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mr. Miller and the former Elizabeth Brown were married July 2, 1943, in Fredericksburg, Md.

She retired in 1990 from the Youngstown Public Schools where she was a teacher’s aide.

Mr. Miller was a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service before retiring in 1980. He also is a mason and member of Rising Sun Lodge, the Buckeye Elks and the Hazeltine Old Timers. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

The Millers are members of Jerusalem Baptist Church.
