Laura Brown and Matt Miller were united in marriage May 25 during a ceremony at The Vineyards at Pine Lake. A reception followed at The Vineyards, and the couple honeymooned in the Smoky Mountains. They reside in Medina.

The Rev. Cathy Daniels officiated for the daughter of Patricia Brown of Boardman and the late Donald Brown and son of Lana and Robert Miller of Wooster.

The bride wore an A-line gown designed with a sweetheart neckline and lace cap sleeves. Covered buttons detailed the back, and the skirt flowed to a chapel train.

Matrons of honor, wearing lilac dresses, were Josie Puskar and Heather Carpenter.

Scott Daniels performed the duties of best man, and the bride’s brother, Ray Brown, escorted her and served as groomsman.

Mrs. Miller, a graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in professional writing and editing, is an editorial manager at Cision/PR Newswire in Cleveland.

Her husband graduated from Ashland University with a bachelor’s degree in geology and earned a master’s degree in that field from Kent State University. He is employed as a project manager at BJAAM Environmental in Canal Fulton.
