Emmalee Torisk, Jamison Cocklin set August date

PITTSBURGH

Emmalee Corinne Torisk and Jamison Todd Cocklin, both of Pittsburgh, are engaged and plan to exchange marriage vows at 5 p.m. Aug. 18 at the Edward W. Powers Auditorium at DeYor Performing Arts Center in Youngstown. A reception will follow in the auditorium’s Grand Lobby.

Anthony and Deborah Torisk of Struthers are the parents of the bride-elect.

Amy Cocklin of Orrington, Maine, is the mother of the prospective groom. Mr. Cocklin also is the son of the late Todd Cocklin.

Miss Torisk graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in English. She is pursuing a doctorate in rhetoric at Duquesne University where she also is employed as an adjunct instructor. Miss Torisk is an associate staff editor with the Oncology Nursing Society.

Mr. Cocklin graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Maine and is a senior editor for Natural Gas Intelligence in Sterling, Va.
