Lepper Library will offer the following programs: one-on-one computer and smart device help every Monday in July from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Clothes Pin Wreath Craft for adults at 6 p.m. Tuesday; and Mystery Book Club meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday (readers choose from author Michael Connelly); and Writer’s Group meeting at 1 p.m.Saturday. Academy to host grand opening

Ray Marrow’s Academy 4 Athletes, 293 Rita Drive, will host its grand opening from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday. Brian West, owner and founder of the Method 8 Corporation/method8inc.com, will be operating as a business consultant, publishing consultant, marketing consultant, entertainment consultant, event planner, mini production studio, book publisher, internet music/book distributor and online retailer. Ray Marrow, who has more than 20 years experience playing and coaching football, will be operating as a gym and personal trainer. Foundation to host call-in support group

The Lupus Foundation of America, Greater Ohio Chapter will host a call-in support group from 7 to 8 p.m. July 11. Registration is required at least 24 hours in advance, by calling 888-665-8787 or visit LupusGreaterOhio.org.

The support group is a closed-group environment that involves discussion and learning among lupus patients. It also is for individuals who do not live in close proximity to an in-person support group, do not have transportation or are not able to leave the house. Any individuals affected by lupus may participate.

Ursuline Center to host book club

CANFIELD

The Ursuline Center Spiritual Book Club will offer an opportunity for spiritual seekers to read, reflect, and share in the discussion of spiritual books that explore the writings of the great spiritual thinkers, both contemporary and classic. This club is for anyone who wants to nurture their spiritual life. The club will meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. July 10 at the Ursuline Center, 4280 Shields Road. The first five chapters of Things Hidden, Scripture as Spirituality by Richard Rohr will be discussed and the concluding chapters will be considered Aug. 7. Music is the Park event planned

We Care Productions will present Music in the Park/Christmas in July from 5 to 8 p.m. July 11 at Wick Park, 5th Avenue at Elm Road.
