Holy Family School students will participate in several service projects beginning at 12:30 p.m. Friday. A few female students will get haircuts to donate to the organization “Children With Hair Loss.” Immediately afterward, the entire school will participate in “Korn Hole for Kids,” a tournament that will result in a monetary donation to Akron Children’s Hospital from the HFS Home & School Association.

The students’ efforts are to demonstrate how the faith-based education extends outside of the classroom to be upstanding young people in the community by showing generosity, compassion and kindness for those in need. The event will take place at the school at 2729 Center Road. For information, visit www.hfspoland.org.
