Historical society seeks nominations

SALEM

Salem Historical Society is accepting nominations for the 2018 Citizens of Honor recognition. The criteria is for Salem-connected citizens, from past or present, who have distinguished themselves with service to the community, their career, and/or to their country. The intent is to honor two recipients at the 48th Annual Founders’ Day dinner April 25.

Any field of accomplishment can be considered and should be described fully. Involvement in the community and other activities should be included when making a nomination. Completed nominations are to be submitted to the Salem Historical Society, 208 S. Broadway Ave., to the attention of the “Citizens of Honor” committee no later than Feb. 15.
