Thiel College displays special art exhibit

GREENVILLE, PA

Thiel College will exhibit “Truths and Fictions: Paintings and Drawings by Terry McKelvey” now through Feb. 16 in the Weyers-Sampson Gallery of the Howard Miller Student Center. McKelvey specializes in paintings and drawings based on direct observations of his subjects. The solo exhibition combines McKelvey’s rarely exhibited figure drawings alongside recent paintings. He lives in Erie, Pa. and teaches undergraduate and graduate painting, drawing, and 2D foundations at Edinboro University.The Weyers-Sampson Gallery is open to the public from 10 a.m. to noon and 2 to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
