Members of the Austintown American Legion Post 302 recently made a donation of $500 to the Austintown Fitch band for its upcoming trip to Washington, D.C. The band was selected to perform in the National Cherry Blossom Parade that will take place April 14. During the trip, the band also will play a concert at the World War II Memorial and lay a wreath at the Vietnam Wall in honor of three Fitch alumni who died in action.
