SENIOR CITIZENS

Lowellville Senior Citizens will meet at noon Saturday at the Lowellville City Hall conference room. Ernie Ciarniello will preside, and election and installation of officers will take place. Dues of $10 for the year will be collected. For reservations, call Janet Davanzo at 330-793-3176. New members are welcome. Membership does not require Lowellville residency. Any illnesses or deaths among members should be reported to Mary Mascarella, sunshine chairwoman, at 330-536-8748 or Paula Kacir at 330-536-6642. Bingo and a 50-50 raffle also will take place. If Lowellville schools are closed, the meeting will be canceled.

P.E.R.I., Mahoning County Chapter 18 will meet at noon Feb. 6 at the Avion Banquet Center, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road, Boardman. Speaker will be Joseph Gorman, the chapter legislature officer, who will report on the COLA changes. Menu includes fried chicken, au gratin potatoes, California blend vegetables, salad, rolls with butter, coffee, tea, beverages and strawberry shortcake. Cost is $13, and can be paid at the door. Any cancellations also are due Monday.
