Library program touts William H. McGuffey

SALEM

Salem Public Library, 821 E. State St., will host a program about the life of the creator of the McGuffey Reader series, William H. McGuffey. It will be presented by a descendant of McGuffey, Shirley Eckley.

McGuffey Readers were a series of books for grades 1 through 6. Register online at www.salem.lib.oh.us or call the library at 330-332-0042. The event is free.
