“The Last Five Years,” directed by Joe Asente with music direction by Savannah FIorkowski, will have auditions at the Hopewell Theater, 702 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, 330-746-5455, 6 to 9 p.m. Feb. 1, and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 3. Performance dates are March 23 through March 25. The Millennial Theatre Company will be pairing with the Hopewell for the production. Needed are male and female actors between the ages of 16-35. Auditionees should prepare a 30- to 60-second cut of a song in the style of the show; songs from the show are welcome in auditions. Interested actors and actresses should also prepare to do a cold reading from the script. An accompanist will be provided. “The Last Five Years” is Jason Robert Brown’s intimate window into a couple’s doomed marriage.

“Senior Follies,” directed by Tom DeNicholas, Trumbull New Theatre, 5883 Youngstown-Warren Road, Niles, 330-652-1103, will have auditions from 7 to 9 p.m. Feb. 6. Performances are three weekends beginning May 4 and running through May 20. Cast requirements are five women and three men, all 55 and older, as well as one male or female age 35-50, acting as a retirement home’s administrator.
