Tri-County Home Show to return to Metroplex Expo Center

Staff report

LIBERTY

The A to Z Drain Tri-County Home Show will return to the Metroplex Expo Center next weekend.

The 25,000-square-foot venue will be filled with more than 100 exhibitors specializing in home remodeling and decor in Trumbull, Mahoning and Mercer counties.

The home show is designed to give customers their first shot at pre-season discount prices on home decor, design and repair, as well as new home building contracting.

The expo center, renovated a year ago, adds to the show’s appeal with chandeliers, brand new floors and carpeting, and a modern flair.

Dave Dangerfield, auctioneer and antique appraiser, will make a guest appearance again this year.

Eventgoers are encouraged to bring in their antiques and collectibles to have them appraised for free Saturday and Sunday between noon and 2 p.m. in what will be similar to a local version of PBS’ “Antique Road Show.”

Admission to the home show is free, as is parking.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Guy’s BBQ of Youngstown.

The Metroplex Expo Center is on Belmont Avenue, near the Interstate 80 interchange in Liberty. Its GPS address is 1620 Motor Inn Drive, Girard, OH 44420.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Jan. 26 and 27; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 27.
