Maluso and Blackson in Valentine dinner show

Staff report

COLUMBIANA

The cabaret duo of Mary Jo Maluso and Rick Blackson will present “It’s All About Love,” an evening of love songs, on Feb. 10 at Das Dutch Village Inn, 150 E. state Route 150.

The dinner-and-music evening will include Broadway favorites, nostalgic American classics and a medley of upbeat country songs, sprinkled with Blackson’s funny and romantic originals.

Blackson’s detailed piano accompaniments and Maluso’s wide vocal range and depth of style will make it a fitting Valentine’s Day affair. The husband-and-wife duo will demonstrate an engaging interaction with one another as they weave well-known songs together with the Valentine’s Day theme.

Guests are invited to enjoy dancing after the show.

Selections will include “Baby It’s Cold Outside,” “Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off” and “Everything’s Coming Up Roses,” as well as country standards such as “Hey, Good Lookin’,” “I Fall to Pieces” and “Stand By Your Man,” plus popular favorites such as “What the World Needs Now is Love,” “Close to You” and “I’ll Never Fall in Love Again.”

Tickets are $49.50 per person and $44.50 for groups of eight or more (plus $2 per person processing fee). The price includes a four-course gourmet buffet.
