The Motherhouse pool offers classes for all ages. They also have SilverSneakers by Tivity Health classes for mature adults comprising strengthening, cardio, water and yoga. Taste of Trumbull

Catholic Charities Regional Agency will host an inaugural fundraising event in Trumbull County, “A Taste of Trumbull,” from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 26 at JFK High School Upper Campus, 2550 Central Parkway SE. The event will feature local restaurants and notables preparing their favorite dish for sampling by attendees. All funds raised benefit the Emergency Housing Assistance Program. Tickets are $15 per person and includes a night of food tasting, prizes, basket raffles and a 50/50 drawing. Beatles Mass

Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic St. NE, will host the 7th Annual Beatles Mass beginning at 3:30 p.m. Feb. 3. Pull out your old tie-dye T-shirt, fringe vests and bell bottoms. At 4 p.m. there will be a praise and worship service and Holy Eucharist with Rev. Jeff Baker – “Here Comes the Son.” There will be food, a chili cook-off, fellowship and a sing-along at 5 p.m. Bring your own instrument and join in for an open mic. Live music will be performed by The Mainstreet Lions. All are invited to attend.

Mass for Life

Bishop George V. Murry will celebrate a diocesan Mass for Life in Jan. 2018, inviting all to pray for a greater respect for life at every stage. The Mass will take place at 4 p.m. Sunday at St. Columba Cathedral, 154 W. Wood St. Expectant mothers, fathers and their families will be invited to receive a blessing for their unborn babies. After the Mass, there will be a reception including an “Expo” of Respect Life information. All are welcome to attend. No reservations are necessary. Donations are accepted and appreciated.
