Pete Haas scored five of his game-high 28 points in overtime to lift Mooney over Steubenville. Anthony Fire added 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Cardinals and Vinny Gentile chipped in with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Kevin Bishop led Steubenville with 17 points.

AKRON

Josh Jones and London Mcbay scored 12 points and Scott Walter added 11 and St. Vincent St. Mary (8-6) beat Ursuline (1-10). Ursuline was led by Devan Keevey with 11 points.

Austintown Fitch 68, East 67

YOUNGSTOWN

The Falcons held on for a narrow victory in the second tight matchup between the All-American Conference Red Tier rivals when the Golden Bears’ Tim Williams missed the second of two free throws with 1.5 seconds to play. East beat Fitch 103-101 in overtime in an earlier game in Austintown. Dylan Beany led a balanced Fitch scoring attack with 15 points, Cameron Cole Constance added 13 and Randy Smith had 12. A.J. Green added nine points and Kole Klasic had eight. Kemon’Dre Muhammad led East with a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds, Williams added 17 points and Shannon Dubose had 12.

Poland 80, Lakeside 55

SAYBROOK

Dan Kramer led the Bulldogs with 22 points and Braeden O’Shaughnessy added 18 and Poland shot 57 percent (29 of 51) from the floor. Mike Diaz added 16 points and Brandon Barringer had 10 for the Bulldogs.

WARREN

Dom McGhee led the way for Harding (5-5) with 15 points. Ten of McGhee’s 15 points came at the free-throw line. Trivell Trimble added 14 for the Raiders. Boardman was led by Holden Lipke with 19 points.

HUBBARD

The Eagles outscored Struthers 20-14 in the fourth quarter, but the comeback fell short. Isaiah Torreance led the Wildcats with 18 points. Hubbard’s Cam Resatar scored a team-high 17 points.

CHAMPION

Led by Drake Batcho, (20 points) Champion (7-6) defeated Newton Falls (7-5). Chase Wheelock added 16 points for the Flashes and AJ Meyer chipped in with four 3-pointers for 12 points. Adam Honeycutt paced Newton Falls with 17 points and Preston Rapczak added 11.

GIRARD

Girard (6-8) entered the fourth quarter trailing 45-41. Austin Claussell led the Indians with 22 points. David Blackman added 13 points. Campbell was led by Trae Edwards and Rayshawn Hicks with 15 points each.

NILES

Lakeview raced to a 17-2 first-quarter lead and never looked back. Despite 32 points from Niles’ Cyler Kane-Johnson, Lakeview used a balanced scoring attack to beat the Dragons. AJ McClellan led the Bulldogs with 19 points, including five 3-pointers. Jeff Remmick had 17, Drew Munno scored 16, and TJ Lynch and Daniel Evans scored 11 and 10 points, respectively, for the Bulldogs.

LIBERTY

Dra Rushton scored 16 points and Josh Green 10 to lead the Leopards. For the Warriors, Conner Stevens and Connor Filipovich each scored 10 points. Noah Harnett made seven rebounds and six assists.

MINERAL RIDGE

Western Reserve’s Kade Hilles led all scorers with 30 points. Teammate Ryan Demsky had 10. Jordan Zupko led the Rams with 21 points while Austin Governor had 18.

After getting outscored 25-14 in the fourth quarter, the Blue Devils (11-1) dominated, 9-2, in overtime for the win. Braedon Poole scored 28 points to lead McDonald. Also scoring in double figures were Zach Rasile with 18 and Matthew Beedle with 14. For the Tigers, Drew Clark led with 19 points, Shane Eynon and John Ritter each scored 14 points.

NORTH JACKSON

Gabe Lanzar led the Trojans with 24 points. Jake Hunter (11 points) and Joey Clark (10) also scored for Sebring. David Vega scored 11 for the Blue Jays.
