Boardman High School art students recently participated in the 2018 Northeastern Ohio Scholastic Art Competition, and seven students were awarded gold and silver keys. More than 20 students received honorable mentions for their submissions.

The Northeastern Ohio Scholastic Art Awards Exhibition showcases artwork from students in Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana and Ashtabula counties in grades 7 through 12.

The students’ artwork will be displayed at Youngstown State University, Bliss Hall, second floor in the Judith Rae Solomon Gallery from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Wednesday.

Students were recognized at an awards ceremony at Ford Theater at YSU.
