The Rust Belt Theater Company will present “Brrrlesque,” a winter-themed burlesque show, at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday in Calvin Center, 755 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown. The show will feature classic striptease numbers by performers from the Black Lace & Burlesque troupe, with costumes and concepts designed by Robert Dennick Joki. “Burlesque dancing as an art form dates back to the time of Vaudeville, but it has seen a huge resurgence in recent years,” said Joki, who is the director of Rust Belt. “It promotes creativity, self expression and encourages positive body images for people of all shapes and sizes.” Pictured at left is Rachel Clifford. The cast also includes Bernadette Lim, Celena Coven, Amanda Rudnytsky, Lisa Torrence, Katie Morris and Rick Morrow. The show will be hosted by local drag comedian Minaj. Each performance will include a complimentary wine and cheese reception. Throughout the evening, audience members will be given a chance to win free passes to future RBTC shows. All tickets are $15; for reservations, call 330-507-2358.
