SWIMMING
The Boardman High School boys and girls swim teams won the All-Americn Conference meet for the fourth consecutive year on Saturday at Warren Harding. The Spartans set seven AAC records , five pool records and one school record. Senior Megan Janak won with 406.8 points setting a new 11 dive school record. Boardman’s Kyle Kimerer was named the male swimmer of the meet while Fitch’s Gia Direnzo was the female swimmer of the meet. Kimerer set AAC records in the 200 freestyle, 100 freestyle and 100 butterfly. He also was a member of the 200 freestyle, and 400 freestyle relay teams that set a meet record. He also set pool records in those events. Also on the relay teams were Callen Aulizia, Matthew DunLany and Noah Basista. Sarah Murray set the AAC record in the 200 freestyle.
