Sarah Terlecki and James Rhodes, both of Manchester, England, were united in marriage April 22 at St. Patrick Church in Youngstown. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Ed Noga and was followed by a reception at the Tyler Mahoning Valley History Center.
The bride is a daughter of Judith Szabo Lepore and Henry Lepore of Youngstown and the late Richard Terlecki. Her brother, Jeffrey Terlecki, escorted her down the aisle.
The groom is the son of Tim and Heather Rhodes of Manchester.
Mrs. Rhodes earned a bachelor’s degree in theater, dance and communications from Youngstown State University and also studied at Balanced Body University to obtain classical Pilates Reformer teacher training. She also completed 200-hours of instruction to become a registered yoga teacher. She is a freelance Pilates and yoga instructor in Manchester.
Mr. Rhodes graduated with a doctorate in sociology from the University of Manchester, where he is employed as an assistant professor of sociology.
The bride wore an ivory couture gown.
Kristina Terlecki, sister-in-law of the bride, and Joy Bellomo served as matrons of honor.
Bridemaids were Meridith Lashway and Holly DiRenzo, cousins of the bride; Lisa Terlecki, sister-in-law of the bride; Sarah Dickey; and Dana Lariccia. Annalise Terlecki, Lila Pahel and Carmen Terlecki, nieces of the bride; and Sloane Smith, cousin of the bride, all served as flower girls.
The attendant’s wore pale-pink dresses.
Michael Cox and James Taylor shared the duties of best man.
Groomsmen were John Slanina, Dave Slanina and the bride’s brothers, Justin, Jacob and Joshua Terlecki. Ben Terlecki, nephew of the bride, served as junior groomsman. The bride’s son, Isaiah Matthew Grazier, was ring bearer.
The couple reside in Manchester.
