Registration set for Mathews schools

Kindergarten registration at Mathews Local Schools for the 2018-19 school year will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through March 9 at Currie Elementary, 3306 Ridge Road. Children must be five years old on or before Sept. 30 and have the following immunizations: (5) DPT, (4) polio, (2) measles, (2) mumps, (2) rubella, (3) hepatitis B, and (1) chicken pox.

To register, parents must provide the child’s birth certificate, immunization records, Social Security card, driver’s license, proof of residency (utility, phone bill) and custody papers if applicable. Children do not need to be present to register.
